A med spa and laser clinic in Vaughan, Ontario offered a full menu of aesthetic treatments laser hair removal, photofacials, fractional laser resurfacing, electrolysis, and skin tag/wart removal but had very limited visibility in local search. Most inquiries came through word of mouth, and the website wasn’t generating consistent bookings from Google.
With dozens of individual treatments to promote, the goal was to build out service-specific visibility rather than relying on one generic “med spa” page to rank for everything.
Objectives
- Rank for high-intent, treatment-specific searches (not just generic “med spa Vaughan”)
- Improve average search position across the full range of services offered
- Increase qualified consultation inquiries through the website
- Build visibility in Google’s AI-driven search results, not just traditional rankings
Strategy & Implementation
1. Treatment-Specific Landing Pages
Instead of one generic services page, we built dedicated pages for individual treatments dark circle treatment, photofacials, fractional laser resurfacing, and more each optimized around how patients actually search for that specific concern.
2. Local SEO & Google Business Profile
Optimized the Google Business Profile with accurate service categories, treatment-specific posts, and photos, tuned for “[treatment] in Vaughan” style searches.
3. On-Page & Technical SEO
Improved page titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking across the site, and fixed technical issues that were limiting how many pages Google was indexing and ranking.
4. Content Built for AI Search
Structured service content clearly enough that Google’s AI Overview results began citing the clinic directly alongside larger competitors a channel most local competitors weren’t optimizing for at all.
